WSP appoints Mark Wolfe as aviation sector lead for the UK and Europe

Global aviation and transport expert appointed to key role at WSP.

WSP has appointed Mark Wolfe as aviation sector lead for the UK and Europe, further strengthening its strong position in the sector and reinforcing the commitment to deliver sustainable airport development. 

Wolfe brings over 25 years of global experience in aviation and major transport projects, with senior roles at Populous, Hassell, Capita and Pascall+Watson, as well as positions at Heathrow and Gatwick airports.

His career spans Australia, Asia, France, Iceland, Africa and the Middle East, with a track-record of delivering airport schemes in Sydney, Adelaide, Melbourne, Changi, Christchurch and Hong Kong.

Wolfe’s appointment is a key part of WSP’s 2025-2027 strategic plan to drive its established sectors forward at what is being seen by the firm as an exciting time for aviation globally. His passion for high-quality design is set to play a pivotal role in delivering sustainable and innovative aviation projects across the UK and Europe.
