Industry network championing built environment journalism and communications announces its annual awards shortlist.
The International Building Press (IBP), which champions the very best in built environment journalism and communications, has announced the shortlist for its IBP Awards 2025. This year marks the awards’ 52nd year and as always, they act as a benchmark for excellence and highlight the skilled reporting of journalists on key issues across the construction, property and infrastructure sector.
This year, the independent panels of industry judges had a tough task with a record number of submissions across the awards’ ten categories. Commenting on the shortlist, Harriett Hindmarsh, chair of IBP, said: “We are delighted to report that we had a record number of entries this year and the judges have been very impressed with the exceptional work covering the built environment. Thanks to everyone who took the time to enter and showcase their brilliant work and we look forward to a great attendance at our awards evening in November.”
The winners of the 2025 IBP Awards will be revealed at an awards ceremony on 27 November 2025 at the Building Centre in London. Tickets are available here.
