New appointment at WSP will help the firm grow its major commissions capability.
Sharif Narouz has been appointed by WSP as its major programme director for the UK and Ireland, reinforcing the business’s capability to deliver complex, high-value programmes across the full project lifecycle and multiple sectors.
Narouz brings extensive experience from senior client roles at AWE, Crossrail and TfL, most recently leading a £5bn+ programme in the defence nuclear sector. He is an accredited National Infrastructure and Service Transformation Authority tier one project reviewer and is actively involved in the Institution of Civil Engineers-sponsored Infrastructure Client Group, with a particular focus on Project 13 and enterprise alliances.
